This page explains how HerHairdo guides are researched, written, checked and updated, so you know what you’re reading and where it comes from.

Who Writes HerHairdo

HerHairdo is run by Ikram, the founder and writer. Ikram is not a licensed hairstylist. Guides are built from research, not salon experience, and articles say so plainly when a topic needs a professional.

How Guides Are Researched

  • Advice is compared across professional stylist resources, product instructions and published hair-care guidance, and articles are built on the points those sources agree on.
  • Health-related topics, such as hair loss, scalp conditions and chemical damage, are kept general and always point readers to a dermatologist, trichologist or qualified stylist.
  • We don’t accept payment to include or recommend a product or brand.

How Guides Are Written

Each guide aims to answer the practical questions most galleries skip: which hair lengths and textures a style suits, how long it takes, which tools hold it and where it usually goes wrong. AI writing tools help with drafting and organizing, and every article is reviewed, edited and fact-checked before it is published.

Images

Many images are AI-generated illustrations made to show a style clearly, usually from the back or side. Some photos come from free stock libraries such as Pexels and Unsplash, and diagrams and charts are made for this site. Images illustrate a style; they don’t show a specific person’s results.

Updates and Corrections

Older guides are revisited to add detail, fix mistakes and keep links working, and updated posts show the date they were last changed. If you spot an error, email hello.herhairdo@gmail.com or use the contact page, and we’ll review and correct it.

Advertising

HerHairdo may show ads to support the site. Ads never influence which styles, products or advice appear in our guides. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies work.
