Most hairstyle articles show a finished photo and a one-line description. That’s enough to fall in love with a look, but not enough to recreate it on your own hair, or to know whether it will hold through a full day.
HerHairdo is built the other way around. Each guide breaks a style into its key steps, explains which hair lengths and textures it suits, and points out the small adjustments that make it last. Advice is researched from professional stylist resources, product instructions and published hair-care guidance, then written in plain language.

Each style is broken into numbered steps with the hair length it needs, the tools, a time estimate and the mistakes that usually make it fail. Tables and charts make options easy to compare, and older guides are revisited to add detail, fix mistakes and keep links working. Updated posts show the date they were last changed.
Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Ikram, the founder and writer behind HerHairdo. I started this site because I kept finding hairstyle articles that looked beautiful but left out the practical answers: will this work on fine hair, how many pins does it need, what should I tell a stylist? I’m not a licensed hairstylist, and I don’t present myself as one. My work is research and writing: comparing what professionals recommend and turning it into guides that are clear, honest and easy to follow. When a topic needs a professional, such as hair loss, scalp problems or chemical treatments, I say so in the article.
